The Winery

With five acres of vines, It is one of the oldest wineries in the district. This popular winery is known for its premium table wines which include Barbera, Merlot, Chardonnay, Semillon, Cabernet Sauvignon, White Port, Shiraz and Mead. It has won Tourism awards in 1995, 1996 and 1997. While here, you can view the gallery with works by artists from the Canberra region. The above photo was taken from a helicopter in the 1980's.

The Cellar door has a rustic feel, and paying customers are welcome to use our winery as a meeting place drinking our wine and eating cheeses available from the cellar door. We have local Artwork on exhibition and locally made al paca clothing.

The Murrumbateman Winery currently uses its cellar door to engage in business sharing arrangements with Artists, Photographers, local producers of clothing and food produce. If you have a product that you think will sell in our cellar doors, we will rent this space to you for free in return for a small title on the profits.
